Hufvudstaden has two share series, series A and series C. Both series are listed in the large cap list on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm. Series A shares carry one vote per share and series C shares carry 100 votes per share. There is no limit on how many votes each shareholder may cast at a general meeting.
The share capital is SEK 1,056.4 million, broken down into 202,996,869 A shares and 8,275,064 C shares, making a total of 211,271,933 shares. At the 2009 Annual Meeting, the Board was given a renewed mandate to buy back up to 10 per cent of the issued shares and to assign company shares. On December 31, 2009 Hufvudstaden held 5,006,000 A shares, equivalent to 2.4 per cent of the total number of issued shares. The total number of outstanding shares as of December 31, 2009 was thus 206,265,933.
The number of shareholders is approximately 19,057. The largest shareholder is L E Lundbergföretagen with 45.3 per cent of the outstanding shares and 88.1 per cent of the votes.
