Hufvudstaden is a Swedish listed company and is run in accordance with Swedish corporate law, Hufvudstaden's Articles of Association and the listing agreement with the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Since July 1, 2005, the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance has been applied. The aim of the Code is to create good conditions for functioning as an active and responsible owner. The Code means, among other things, that each year the Board of Directors presents a Corporate Governance Report. This report should state how the Company has applied the Code during the past financial year. Any deviations from the rules in the Code must be presented clearly and justified according to the "comply or explain" principle.
